General Engineering HND Level 5

Electrical Engineering: This discipline will equip students to work within the fields of electrical and electronic engineering where electrical or electronic systems are in use

Manufacturing Engineering: This discipline will prepare students to work in computer aided design and/or the manufacturing environment

Course content: Year 1 core units: Analytic Methods, Engineering Science, Project Design

Year 2 core units: Analytic Methods (continued), Engineering Science, Project Design

Through the HND students will gain the skills, knowledge and experience so that on successful completion of the programme students can progress directly into employment and have the necessary transferrable skills for the engineering industries

The Evolve 6th Form curriculum is designed to give a balanced and varied programme focusing in the following areas; Personal Social Development, English and maths, Information Technology, Business Enterprise and simulated Work Experience.
