What’s covered
This practical course is designed for beginners or people working in the trade with no formal qualifications in welding. You will cover different methods of welding and testing. Options: The student can choose any of the following five options: MMA(01); MIG(02); TIG(A) Aluminium(04) or TIG(S/S) Stainless Steel(05). Although this course is a practical one, tuition is given in welding and testing methods (BS 4872) in the form of demonstrations.

Twenty weeks, one evening per week.

Practical workshop based training and an oral assessment.
