What's covered?

This course is for those with very little or no knowledge of the Spanish language.

Students will learn to understand and express simple words and phrases and take part in straightforward dialogues. Students will also learn to read and write simple words and phrases.

The aim is to introduce you to the basic linguistic skills and the background knowledge necessary for you to communicate simply but effectively in the country or in contact with visitors to this country.

What do you need?

Nothing other than an interest in other languages and cultures. You may be advised to buy a course book.

How you are assessed

There is no formal assessment on this course. Your teacher will let you know how you are doing on a regular basis.

12 weeks - 2 hours per week
