What's covered?

This qualification is built on two core units that form the fundamental knowledge and understanding of health a social care principles; Human Lifespan development and Health and Social care values. In addition to this learners study additional units to enable them to develop a broader understanding of the health and social care sector including factors that influence an individual's lifestyle choices and their health. This qualification also enables learners to acquire some of the practical skills identified by employers as the fundamental building blocks for future competence in the workplace.

Four D grades at GCSE including GCSE English and Maths

How you are assessed

Two externally assessed units, the remaining units are assessed internally

One academic year
