What's covered?

This is a 2 year course year 1 is the CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and Education and year 2 is the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator). The Diploma enables learners to gain the knowledge and experience which will allow them to work with children from birth to 5 years.

What do you need?

Entry Requirements 5 GSCEs All learners who achieve an Early Years Educator qualification will need GCSE English and maths A--C to count in the ratios at level 3 in childcare settings.

How you are assessed

To achieve the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) learners must complete 15 mandatory units. Learners must also complete an Effective Practice Study and Extended Assessment (externally set, externally marked). The Course will days in a Early Years Placement.

Upon achievement of the Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education it is intended that learners will be able to access higher education or enter the workforce as Early Years Educators.

What could this lead to?

UCAS confirm maximum allocation of 420 points at A- to the Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (EYE).
