What's covered?

The qualification has been designed to give students the underpinning knowledge and specific skills needed to meet the expectations of modern engineering industries and developing technologies. You will study a combination of theory, applied theory and practical subjects across a broad range of subjects.

What do you need?

You will need 4 GCSEs at grades A--C including GCSE Maths and English or an appropriate Level 2 qualification and a satisfactory school report.

How you are assessed

Assessment will be via assignments, workplace observation, portfolio evidence and online tests

How Long?

24 months

HNC in Electrical /Electronic Engineering, General Engineering or Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering

What could this lead to?

Electrical design technicians, architectural technicians and electrical engineers.
