What's covered?

This covers various area's in Electrotechnical technology such as, principals of electrical science, electrical installations technology and health & Safety within the Building Services industry

What do you need?

You will need a good standard of numeracy and literacy, a grade C at GCSE would be preferred. Science would be an advantage, but is not essential. An interest in becoming employed in the electrical installation trade is important and will need to be demonstrated at interview.

How you are assessed

Assessment is by a series of on-line multiple choice tests and work shop practical assignments

How Long?

Two years

What course next?

Electrical Installation Diploma level 3 or NVQ Diploma level 2 if you gain employment as an apprentice
