What's covered?

This is the advanced Technical certificate in Electrical Technology awarded by City & Guilds. The course provides the underpinning knowledge of Electrical Science and Technology for candidates joining the Electrical industry. It is essential qualification for progression onto NVQ Diploma level 3.

What do you need?

Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology, C&G 2330 Level2, 2365 Level 2 or equivalent, C&G 2360 Part 1.

How you are assessed

Through as series of on line exams and practical assessments in the work shop

How Long?

One year on a full time day course or two years on a part time evening course

What course next?

Successful completion will allow progression to C&G electrotechnical NVQ level 3 2357, Certificate in fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification 2392, 17th edition wiring regulations 2382, Degree in Building Services.

What could this lead to?

Employment as an electricians mate or progression onto an NVQ Diploma apprenticeship if employed as an apprentice
