What's covered?

Never tried knitting before? Learn some basic stitches such as knit and purl. Experiment with colours to make stripes. Begin to read patterns and learn how to cast on and off. Start your first knitting project and meet like-minded people.

What do you need?

Basic materials will be provided but students are encouraged to bring along any needles or fancy yarns and materials they may wish to use and experiment with. Sketch books or files are also advisable so you can collect visual information, record any new techniques and collect handouts.
