What's covered?

This one year foundation course will give you good grounding in plastering skills. Learners can progress onto the Diploma 2 on completion subject to certain criteria being met. The course has practical assessment, phase test and on-line exam at the end. At present the Diploma requires the completion of practical and theory tasks, unit end tests followed by on-line exam and practical phase test. What do you need?

Level one Numeracy and Literacy or GCSEs grade D in Maths and English. Learners must have a good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the course.

How you are assessed

Practical in workshops and theory in classrooms with a practical assignment and on line exams at the end of each unit.

How Long?

1 Year

What course next?

Following successful completion of Level 1 and a reference from your lecturer you could progress to the Diploma 2. If you can secure a job as a plasterer on site you could gain an NVQ level 2
