What's covered?

This an Apprenticeship course designed for those wishing to build on their existing Construction knowledge, either to enter the industry at a higher level or to progress to a Higher Education programme. Within the college delivered course there are eighteen units to cover: these include Health, Safety and Welfare; Sustainable Construction; Construction Technology and Design; Science and Materials; Surveying Processes; Project Management; Mathematics; Measuring, Tendering and Estimating; Building Technology; Environmental Science; and Building Surveying. Your competence will also be assessed on-site with a choice of routes including: Estimating, Buying, Planning, Surveying, Site Technology, Design and General Construction.

What do you need?

You will need 3 GCSE grades at C grade or above including Maths, English and Science.

You will be assessed in the classroom and in your place of work
