What's covered?

This is a beginner's course designed for mature students new to using a computer in everyday life. You may be considering the purchase of have just bought a computer and be wondering just what you can do with it. Attendance at this course will put your mind at ease and help you, in a friendly atmosphere, to understand what can be achieved.

You will be introduced to many of the functions of the word processing application which can be used for a variety of purposes. You will be shown how to layout a letter and enhance the text, save your documents, create envelope labels, print a greetings card and much more.

How Long?

The course will take place for 1.5 hours a week for 10 weeks, either morning, afternoon or twilight sessions (4-6pm). Contact centres for details.
