The National Careers Service, previously known as Next Step, is accessible via East Berkshire College. There are qualified advisers ready to give face-to-face support, based at our Langley and Windsor campuses. They can deliver a full career review and planning service to adult students (aged 19+). Advisers also visit community locations to deliver one-to-one or group career consultations.

National Careers Service advisers will help you review your career and employment ideas, provide advice and give you access to resources that will help you get to where you want to be. Part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), this free service includes the development of a tailored action plan to get you on your way to success. Why not drop us a line or use the Need advice? button opposite to book an appointment and start planning your next move?

If you are under 19 you can access support from the National Careers Service by calling 0800 100 900 or visiting the directgov Careers Information for Young People webpage. Support from the National Careers Service is available in a number of formats, including telephone, web-chat and email.

Alternatively, we can provide face-to-face support in Student Services. Please have a look at our Information, Advice and Guidance page for more information on how we can help you or use the form below to contact us.
